Line of Goodwill: An Exhibition in Unity Pavilion

Line of Goodwill, an exhibition in Unity Pavilion was held here in Auroville on Tuesday. The opening of the exhibition witnessed discussion on several aspects on the development of the Auroville city and the concepts of its architectures. The event is scheduled till the 31st of March, 2018. The event would also have international and national architecture students working at the Unity Pavilion between 23rd February and 7th March, 2018 on the habitat, exploring concepts the new ways of collective living.

With several architectural and miniature designs of ‘The Dream’ concept of the city of Auroville, major aspects covering the residential construction in the city was talked about which can help providing housing upto eight thousand people prioritising to live in harmony with nature.

Talking about the next big step, Judith talks about the support and unity required from every one in Auroville and help the city grow. And with the concept of the New Gateway, she says should create a new atmosphere and a peaceful environment for all those who visit Auroville so that they can keep on their experiences to what they gain in Auroville.

Quoting ‘The Mother’, “Auroville belongs to nobody in particular. Auroville belongs to humanity as a whole,” she says and adds that everybody can gain the benefits that the city offers to all.

The concept reveals more about the plans for people who have a connection with the city of Auroville and the Matrimandir. The plan focuses on non-pollutive aspects where the visitors can walk through the greenery. Matrimandir will soon be a place for all to live in peace and harmony.
