THE MOTHER OF LIGHT
Savitri meets her third soul-force, the Mother of Light and Joy and Peace, the Power that labors towards the best. The Mother of Light is surrounded by a clear and crystal light in a space where the spirit thrills with nearness to its source. She works to lift man’s soul nearer to the Light. The Savitri hears the the warped echo from below on earth, the voice of the sense-shackled human mind. It can only see the physical surfaces of life, and cannot perceive inner things or the Spirit, or know the Truth. He complains that if God is at work, God’s secrets he has found, but in the end, the world itself becomes a doubt. All is a speculation or a dream, and he cannot believe that man could grow Immortal and Divine.
Savitri promises to return, holding the hand of God. Then there will be light and peace in all the worlds.
