SOUL-MATES’ IMMORTAL LOVE
Savitri has heard Death’s descriptions of vital love and his arguments that her love comes from her vital. She has heard him say that nothing ever lasts, and that her love will not last. She knows this is all falsehood. Savitri is strong and clear. She tells Death that her love does not come from the hungers of her heart or the cravings of her flesh. Her love comes from God and goes to God. Savitri tells Death that she and Satyavan have been together through many lifetimes. They were man and woman from the first.. They are twin souls, born from one undying fire.
