Synthesis of Yoga

The Synthesis of Yoga is Sri Aurobindo’s principal work on his method of Integral Yoga; in this book he presents a most thorough explanation, illuminating and comprehensive.

Hear the middle portion of Chapter 22 The Supramental Thought and Knowledge, pages 830-835,the chapter to be completed with the next reading.

As we rise above mind to the supermind, knowledge, will, feeling and all else become a single movement, a unity, reaching its greatest completeness in the highest supermind. Important to realize that the supermind knows most completely and securely not by thought but by identity, pure awareness of the self-truth of things in the self and by the self; we become one with the truth, with the object of knowledge. Division between the knower, knowledge and the known ceases … in the highest ranges of the Infinite there will be no thought at all.

Supramental thought presents always the idea as a luminous substance of being, of consciousness; an intensely sensible vibration of being, Ananda.
