Auroville Pre-Opens the First Ever Pondicherry International Film Festival
On Monday the 24th of September at 8 pm the curtain raiser, ‘Rainbow Jelly’, brought a team of representatives from the PIFF 2018, including Abhishek Sinha the Founder and CEO of PickurFlick, Soukarya Ghoshal the Director, Screen Writer and Animator for ‘Rainbow Jelly’ and Adil Husain an Indian stage, television and film actor from the state of Assam, who works in mainstream Bollywood as well as art house cinema.
In 2017, Soukarya’s own film production company, Indigenous, produced ‘Rainbow Jelly’, described as an Ayurveda food fantasy film in the Bengali language.
Nina from Cinema Paradiso and Surya from Aurofilm brought the PIFF 2018 team to speak to the audience about the festival and the film. At the end of the film the gracious Soukarya answered questions from the audience.
