Colourful Fabric Art by Manjula
Born and raised in Auroville Manjula Selvam offers on display her very specific art work – Fabric Art , whereby joyfully displays emotions through vivid colours. Although her path has leaded her into fashion , she follow inspiration in texture, and colors of fabric, and out of it creates mostly abstracts pieces. In short interview Manjula explains the process for her art pieces, from which each of them is made in long hours of meticulous, yet inspirative, almost meditative path. Still in everything Manjula looks for joy, and things which makes her happy, explaining it with a broad smile.
Today she inaugurate her 4th exhibition at Centre d”Art in Citadines, and it will be on display until 22nd of September, each day between 10am to 12, and from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, except Sundays.
