Embodied Research

Yesterday at Sri Aurobindo Centre for Stuidie – India and the World, Bharat Nivas Adam Kincel presented his work as psychotherapist, and especially in Emobdied research. . Adam started with practical exercises trying to put participants into the shoes of one who does embodied research. Later he tried to explain what would be benefits of this kind a research, or how those could be of bigger importance to the society.

Biography: Adam Kincel is a PhD candidate at the University of Brighton and a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist. He
teaches Gestalt therapy in the UK, Poland, Georgia and Bulgaria. Adam works with clients and
supervisees in London
and is particularly interested in therapeutic work through the body, diversity, large groups and relational therapy.

Adam Kincel is a UK Council for Psychotherapy registered psychotherapist. He works with individuals and groups providing long and short term counselling and psychotherapy. He has completed two postgraduate degrees in psychotherapy and has experience of working with clients in private practice as well as in residential setting. Working in private practice he has developed an efficient method of supporting clients struggling with depression, relationship and life crises. His mental health experience allows him also to take referrals from clients experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems.

In addition to his private practice he works as a trainer for a UKCP training provider Re-Vision in London, Caucasus Institute for Gestalt and Family Therapy in Tbilisi (Georgia) and Instytut Terapii Gestalt in Kraków (Poland).
