Mother speaks of the need to face pain when it comes, not to run away or seek diversions. When we seek to forget pain and avoid being serious about facing life, we miss the opportunity for an existence which is a moment in eternity when we can find the purpose of life. When we can emerge from the ego and unite with the Divine, there is no longer any reason for pain to come to teach us anything, and all suffering disappears. It is an all-powerful remedy for all parts of the being, including the physical body.
