Once again the room at Pitanga was almost too small for all those who wanted to listen to the concert of Contemporary Compositions in sound, and yet the intimacy of the room proved to be just the right frame for this special experience. The light and humorous approach and the explanations about the compositions by the author, Maarten, evoked laughter amongst the audience. But still the compositions sounded somehow playful on the given structure, although the approach was taken quite seriously. One’s mind could flow freely with the compositions, be amused over sudden turns, and still be fully present all the time. One of the events where everybody was in no hurry to go home.
