Peace Bell at Tibetan Pavillon
The event at the Pavillon of Tibetan Culture was a special moment for the Aurovillian life. All the participants could meditate guided by the sound of Russian Peace Bell and play the bell too. The big Russian Peace Bell is a huge and big metal plate able to produce a great amount of bass frequencies with many harmonic waves. The full sound of the bell moves a lot of energy through the body, particularly if you stand behind it.
In the recording you can hear a brief introduction by Vera about the International Zone of Auroville, the story and the building of this particular instrument. Unfortunately the record cant give back the whole feeling of live sound.
