Open Spaces and Social Landscape Space on Crown by CEPT students
Students of established CEPT University of Ahmedabad came to Auroville to participate in Winter School Programme or workshop where the task of to look at the open social spaces on Crown was given to them. Criticism after the presentation from the side of architect was mainly in not offering the building designs but to dwelled too much into the future outlook of Crown with (in future) existing Ring Road, along with the particularity of life in Auroville.Yet, as the Auroville is offering an educational platform, this exercise was still a valuable lesson to the students of diverse background from structural engineers , urban planner, landscape designers and architects.
