Sangamam Celebration (8) – the Final Act – Dhani Trio
Sunday, 4th of March –
The final act of the all day Sangamam Festival (held at the Auroville football field behind the Visitor’s Centre) ended with a rambunctious boom of rock infused with bits of groovy blues rolling into dance-inspiring jazzy tunes. They drove the infectious atmosphere of man-made harmony beneath all varieties of commotion. Every Tamil conversation, distant, boisterous cackle, and child’s playful shriek was an accented instrument adding to the furiously funk-filled collage pouring uncut from the speakers into the bones of people from all over the bioregion.
