On September 7th the third edition of the Auroville Underground Music festival took place at the Youth Center.
On August 31st we recorded at Cripa an astonishing concert of the talented piano player Neecia Majolly.

Also this year the concert of Aurovilles largest choir took place in Cripa. On 2 and 3 March the 54 singer choir directed by the talented Nuria gave the city unforgettable moments.
On March 15th we enjoyed a remarkable music performance by Anand Seshadri on piano at Cripa.
A repeated pattern on the bass, the ostinato, was frequently used in the 17th and 18th centuries. Over this repeated ground motif, other voices are laid, weaving a beguiling skein of contrasting variations.
Public chanting by Tibetan Tashi Lhumpo monastery monks
On Auroville's 51st birthday a group of Tibetan monks from Tashi Lhumpo monastery held a public chanting and presented the beautiful sand mandala they have created during the last few days
Dhani on vocals & lead guitar, Amando on vocals & bass, Ray on vocals & drums and Rolf on rhythm guitar. The concert at the Visitor Center was filled with positive energy, good vibes and above all, an incredible sense of Unity.

On February 8th we recorded and interviewed the professor Sehdev Kumar in Cripa who performed a reading of the poems of the 15th-century Indian mystic poet and saint Kabir.
