“If we have nothing to fear in life, we might give ourselves as much we can because we are on this Earth to love one another and to give of ourselves, and to share who we are in our center as much is possible to make this much better place to live..” says amongst many other things Ronald Rand in our interview. He came to Auroville for a short visit, and during his stay we will see his play LET IT BE ART!, and he is offering workshop “Art of Transformation” on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th at SAWCHU, which should open us, give freedom to express.

(10th year) Off-Broadway twice, in London, Paris, Athens, New Delhi, Mumbai, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, & most recently at Kathmandus International Theatre Festival, Zimbabwes BAFA International Arts Festival (first American Artist); Voices of History International Theatre Festival-Vologda, Russia (First American Artist); Palace of Culture in Minsk, Belarus; MERCOSUR International Theatre Conference-Paysundu, Uruguay; Keralas International Theatre Conference, many universities, colleges in 15 states across America. Upcoming performances: include India, Cuba. Morocco, Turkey, and Egypt. Off-Broadway debut: Julius Caesar at BAM with Richard Dreyfuss. New York appearances include Hamm in Endgame, directed by Joseph Chaikin, Perfect Crime, Servant of Two Masters, and Ma Raineys Black Bottom. He toured for five months throughout Europe as the Fool in King Lear. Mr. Rands plays include LET IT BE ART!, A System of Government, Consequences, Ode to the Moon, The Site of Human Life, and The Group! about the famed Group Theatre, The Great Society, and IBSEN.
