Our present self-justifying attachments to our preferences, judgments, opinions must yield to the impartiality of an equal vision. Truth and error, knowledge and ignorance: to accept them without being bound, while awaiting a luminous transcendance.

The Divine deals with great and small, just and unjust, ignorant and wise, as the Self of all, deeply intimate and one with the being, leading all according to their nature.
Purification and freedom are the indispensable elements of perfection. A spiritual self-perfection can only mean a growing into oneness with the nature of divine being.
Tamas will become a divine calm; rajas a sheer Will of the spirit; sattwa becomes the self-existent light of the divine being, jyotih. The integral perfection will aim at this greatest triune unity.
To be at one with God is to be at one with oneself, the universe and all beings. ... the secret of a right and divine existence.
The positive sense of freedom is to be universal in soul ... one in spirit with God ... one with him in the law of our being; this is the integral freedom of the spirit.
Spirit is infinite and in the spirit all is true, but nothing in the mind can give the whole truth of the spirit.
What we are physically is a soul asleep in matter, partially wakened, of a body pervaded by external consciousness, attentive to outward impacts of the external world ...in which we try to develop our conscious being.
A purified heart is rid of anger, fear, hatred and all shrinking and repulsion; it has a universal love; it can receive the delight which God gives in the world. When all deformations are got rid of, the lower mentality is purified, ready for perfection.
The deformation preventing the purity is desire; its root is vital craving for that which we feel we have not, for possession, satisfaction, instilling a sense of want and is, in its nature, insatiable.
