Lakou Mizik originally came together in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, and they had put together a collective of amazing musicians inspired by the concept of sharing the culture of Haiti in connection with New Orleans and the World.

'Bossa Nova' opened the evening with rhythms syncopated by Portuguese, French and English 1950's tunes which swayed into a selection of 1930's American Jazz Standards including "On the Sunny Side of the Street".
In wake of their visit to Auroville and their Full Moon Pulse performance on Thursday, members of the tribe were interviewed in SVARAM sound garden, where they spoke of their music-soaked culture, and their experience here. English translation accompanied.
