Gypsy Groove
Romani music (often referred to as Gypsy or Gipsy music is the music of the Romani people, who have their origins in Northern India, but today live mostly in Europe. It is difficult to define the parameters of a unified Romani musical style, as there are many differences in melodic, harmonic, rhythmic, and formal structures from region to region. Lyrics to Romani songs are often sung in one or more dialects of the Romani language, and dance frequently accompanies Romani music performance.

On December 3, 1990, Enigma released its debut album MCMXC a.D.. It was the beginning of an exceptional global success story.
With eighth album released Enigma has created many wonderful different musical stories.
Award-winning German music project Enigma returns with its long-awaited eighth full-length album where Michael Cretu re-connects with the bold, pioneering musical sound-world and returns with his finest hour yet, The Fall Of A Rebel Angel.
Eight. At this age Michael Cretu was already sitting in the cockpit of a spaceship, floating through his imaginary universe. These days he may no longer be a young boy, but he still travels through space. All he needs to navigate his spaceship through the universe is 88 keys - the same 88 keys that inspired him as a child in Bucharest. Whilst playing his piano he always imagined himself traveling through space and musical talent soon matched his limitless imagination.
There is no other music project comparable to Enigma. It defies categorization. New Age, Electronic, Sound Collage, Ambient Rock Symphony, Pop Avant-garde? None of these labels fit and still all of them do. Each beat shows the unmistakable signature of an artist who refuses to be pigeonholed.

Poppo on Archeology
Poppo Pingel is a celebrated architect, who came to Auroville in 1968 for the inauguration as the German delegate. In this interview, Pingel talks about his passion for archeology that stayed with him throughout his life, but found an outlet in Auroville. He describes his various findings from his very first excavation attempt to his recent discoveries as well as the challenges that accompanied them. Additionally, he discusses the archeological park he established (which is situated on Crown Road between Solar Kitchen and Visitors Centre) and explains why he chose to create a 'park' instead of a conventional historical site.
