Mother's Questions And Answers, July 11, 1956
Mother gives us an excellent summary and introduction to the subject of the beings who live in the occult worlds, the worlds which are invisible to ordinary eyes. Then she points out that the advent of this new and stronger consciousness brings more clarity. One result is that we can see things in our own nature which we may not like, but which were always there. She also points out that when the Force which is at work is stronger and more insistent, naturally what resists, resists more strongly. Then she explains how to be in the consciousness that can see the working of the new force.

Synthesis of Yoga
Sri Aurobindo: the Synthesis of Yoga, Part One the Yoga of Divine Works, Chapter 8 The Supreme Will continuing on page 213 until the end of this chapter on page 221.
Sri Aurobindo points out that the way and end of Karmayoga is the total surrender of all our actions to a supreme and universal Will, which will replace the ordinary working of the ego-nature. We get to be reminded of this truth, over and over, in many ways, in ways that anyone and everyone can grasp.
He explains minutely who Is Purusha (Soul or consciousness that is the lord, witness, knower, enjoyer, upholder and source of sanction for the work of Prakriti) and who is Prakriti, Nature-Force (the doer, the supporting consciousness). These are separate powers. And of the One-in-all, Ishwara-Shakti, the Lord, the Supreme, of whom the soul is a portion, a being of that Being and a power of the Power.

Savitri, Book II, The Book Of The Traveller Of The Worlds, Canto XII, The Heavens Of The Ideal
The Traveller enters the first world of spiritual higher mind. Although the great godheads and great thoughts at this level are a powerful part of the whole cosmic scheme, they are not the final goal. Sri Aurobindo writes that although the power of the spiritual higher mind isn't enough to completely purify us, still it can make a first change in us. On either side of the ascending stairs of the World Stair at this level rise the two kingdoms of this plane of consciousness; the mighty kingdoms of the Deathless Rose and the mighty kingdoms of the Deathless Flame Each one gives the seeker something which helps along the way.

"Abandoning all dharmas, all principles and laws and rules of conduct, take refuge in me alone." These are the words spoken to the Karmayogin in the Gita. We must have the faith and the courage to utterly trust ourselves, unconditionally surrender ourselves (take refuge) into the hands of the Lord, leaving behind our mental limitations.
A mind fallen into silence is only a channel for the Light and Truth of the divine knowledge; the ocean of the Infinite flows through him and moves him ... forever.

She shares the latest results of the A4A campaign and the aims and results of the Art for Land auction. Mandakini tells us about many of the beautiful donors and about different solidarity actions for the land. She also explains the principles followed to make sure that the money donated to buy Auroville's land is never used for anything else. In this interview we feel Mandakini's deep, sincere, commitment to Auroville's growth, and we meet a beautiful soul, dedicated to serving the ideals of Auroville.

CAT s Reflecting
Create Auroville Together or CAT will conclude this year season with "resonating " together with Russian Singing Bells on 21st at 4pm at Unity Pavilion. Mother's Questions And Answers, July 7, 1956
Mother explains how to get rid of a localized pain in the body. She gives a detailed explanation and a three-step method which will remove pain in five minutes. There are also quotations from Mother's Agenda, showing how Mother worked on her own body and did the same things she taught the students, along with some quotations from Sri Aurobindo's Record Of Yoga, where he wrote about doing similar work on his own body, fifty years before Mother's Agenda conversations on the same subject.
